Oswaldo Ruiz was born in Monterrey, Mexico in 1977, where he currently lives and works. He studied a Master in Fine Arts by Central Saint Martins College in London, UK, in 2007. He took postgraduate courses in Contemporary Art at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona in Spain, from 2000 to 2001. He received a degree as Architect by Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon in Mexico in 1999.

He has received the following awards for his artistic work: 2nd Prize Petrobras-Buenos Aires Photo in 2006. FONCA Young Creators bursary, Nuevo León, 2005. The 1st Prize in the II Biennale of Visual Arts of Yucatán. México in 2004. The 4th Prize for Photography in the IV Biennale Internazionale dell'Arte Contemporane of Florence, Italy, 2003.

His solo Exhibitions are: in 2005. Remanente, at Galería Alternativa Once in Monterrey, Mexico. And in 2003 Translating Gursky: On The Mexican-Spanish Encounter With The German Image, at Deutsches Haus Gallery, in New York University.

Among his group exhibitions are: In 2007, “Paris Photo 07”; “10 Kg Maximum”, at Casaviva167 in Porto, Portugal; “The new lions”, at Forum Monterrey, in Monterrey, México.MACO 07”. Contemporary Art Fair of Mexico City; “Sp Arte”, Contemporary Art Fair Sao Paulo in Brasil. “Arco 07”, in Madrid, España; “Between Mirrors and Windows”, at London Art Fair in UK; “11.472”. Paula Naughton is a visual artist and curator specialising in photography, drawing and light installation, whose work is based around a preoccupation with time and the memory of habitation. She sees herself as a domestic documentarian. Paula has studied in Dublin, Holland and most recently graduated with an MA from Central Saint Martin’s, London. She has exhibted internationally including Ireland, New York, Holland, Portugal and the U.k
